Just checking up on my running mileage with marathon training and comparing to months in which I was not training for a race. Toot, toot. Yeah. This is a post about how I ran. Not necessarily my favorite to read from other people, and many people do run a lot more.
But the numbers get kind of crazy, and it’s fun to try putting them in perspective.
So far this year I’ve run about 552 miles, that’s about 21 marathons or the distance from Cleveland to Montreal. Not quite Montreal, but I’ll run the remaining 20 miles this week.
All the running has burned over 93,700 calories or close to 35 jars (16 oz.) of Trader Joe’s creamy natural peanut butter.
I wonder if Trader Joe’s would sponsor an ultra event.
