I’m trying out a static blog generator. Yes, I know it’s practically a crime to move anything once it’s been put on the web let alone remove it. Too bad. I pay for hosting and I just don’t care. Kidding of course, I really appreciate my regular readers and I’m going to do my best to migrate posts over to the new static site if I keep it.

Why Static?

Well, the way I have to have my WordPress blog configured, it was interfering with my ability to write easily. Jekyll, my static site generator, isn’t for everyone. It requires a bit more technical skill than operating Gmail, but for me it’s a lot faster to write something and get it published. That’s the whole point of blogging.

If you like the format less, you can be happy that at least there will be more content – and you could just subscribe to the feed until I get a nicer design on.
